I am an artist and I perceive the world very visually. I don’t even like to talk too much about explanations… so it’s a bit contradictory to what we decided to publish here… to put into words our experience of creating theatre performances that appeal to audiences of different ages and different backgrounds.
We would like to reach people across all social classes. Probably because we feel the urgency of our themes about animals, fungi and trees, about microorganisms, the cosmos and bacteria and we want to spread them in a different and exciting way. Because it still appeals to us and when we meet with the audience we see that it resonates with society.
At the Tineola Theater, we have long found Inspiration in literature, in the nonsense poems of Christian Morgenstern ( https://www.databazeknih.cz/knihy/sibenicni-pisne-jdujen-a-t-d-515645 photos: https://www.behance.net/gallery/14012663/Morgenstern-and-Vesper-Tineola-Theater-2004), Edward Lear and even in the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch ( https://www.behance.net/gallery/18795271/The-Haywain-Inspired-by-Hieronymus-Bosch-) See History....
I also write about all this in a book that was published in 2024 by KANT Publishing House and which you can buy at all booksellers - Puppet in Digital Light. https://www.kant-books.cz/cs/publikace/loutka-v-digitalnim-svetle/)Visual: https://www.behance.net/gallery/135702377/From-puppets-to-digital-theater
But for the last ten years, our attention has been focused on nature, on invisible worlds. And that's what we'll mainly talk about!
