The play opens the view for the fantastic world of Hieronymus Bosch's painting shown by wood-carved Czech figures in original technology used in an unusual way of puppeteering.
Through our interpretation of Bosch's painting by figures, music, light and rhythm we revive to imagine. Our performance is symbolical and metaphorical
Where might be a story this play invites you to follow a mosaic of situations as in a dream…
Don't ask the question and leave yourself to drift with our play…

If you really want to know - we can tell you:
The play stems from the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch who is often called the painter of wonderous and exceptional imagination as well as the painter of human soul. Some takes him for a surrealist of the 15th century, some sees in his works a reflection of the medieval esoteric practices and alchemy. Some characters are derived from types of people, as typified by C. G. Jung.
Production of the performance is by the Tineola Theatre. In September The Haywain opened in Dejvicke Divadlo in Prague and then toured Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Germany and France. The Haywain was awarded the Logo of Prague 2000/Capital of Europe.
In the year 2002 The Haywain took a part in the international festival in Unidram- Potsdam in Husum- puppet festival in Germany and in the international puppet festival in Meppel in Holland. In 2003 it took part in Nuremberg International Puppet fFestival and in Charleville Mezieres in France. In 2004 The Haywain was performed in Brühl in Germany and in Eupen, Belgium.
