Puppet creator, carver.

 

Antonín worked for many years on animated films for the Jiri Trnka Studio. He has also worked extensively for live puppet theatre -   carving puppets for various companies in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe. His principal productions include: The Piper of Hamlyn, an animated film directed and designed by Jiří Barta. In coopertion with Michaela Bartoňová and with her designs he carved puppets for  Hilletje Jans and The Farmer Giles of Ham by J.R.R. Tolkien (Salz und Pfeffer, Nuremberg), Rigoletto and Michael Kohlhaas (Kobalt Figurentheater, Berlin), Faust Metamorphoses The Haywain and Morgenstern and Vesper  and Etaín (TINEOLA, Prague)
